Program Details
- Run by: Jude B. Sydell and Cape Henlopen Cross Country team members
- Age group: 6th–8th graders
- Runners of all levels will be supported (Beginner to Advanced)
- Format: Twice weekly sessions
- Session flow: Warm-up → Drills → Run segment → Cool-down
- Goal: Build gradually to complete a fun, friendly 5K fundraiser at the end of the summer
We group participants by pacing/ability so everyone makes steady progress in a supportive environment.
End-of-Summer 5K
A volunteer-supported, family-friendly 5K celebrates what participants have built. Date and exact location will be shared mid-summer.
What to expect: Water station, finish-line snacks and mini awards.
